My guns aren't big enough and my weapons aren't small enough to do that drill. Also, I don't take 3 sec to get a 1st shot off at 7 yds. The way he does it strikes me as too much of a "rep." It's like he's doing some kind of lift or something. Big boy like him shouldn't be straining so much to push a 7oz G19.
You guys should go read this crap:

I actually like the "ask LAV" section of that forum. Vickers comes off as not so much of a prick there and makes good arguments for the stuff and methods he likes. Falla is just a tool, though.

I think he bullshitted the accuracy standard for pistol when he seen he flew two outside the ring.
That was my first thought.
As I have mentioned before, in my Timmy days I took some LAV classes. At the end of a two day pistol class that was pretty much a beginner class, there were still 3 people who couldn't keep their shots inside a 6" circle at 7 yards. He threatened them with a trip to Wal-Mart to get a bicycle helmet and some fluorescent orange krylon so they could have their own special headgear to match their shooting ability.
Do people who post these things on youtube actually think it's impressive?

Kyle Defoor paid him a backhanded compliment in his blog.
I knew from his mil experience that he was gonna be our land warfare guru. He also knows ropes, climbing and airframe stuff better than anyone, so all helo evolutions(and there were a lot) involved him. The first time I watched him shoot pistol, which I think was during his interview test, I was speechless…..he sucked, he sucked bad. Carbine, no worries. Pistol, sketch. I say this not in a derogatory way because he worked so hard at getting better at pistol, that now he is one of the best pistol shots around. When I say work hard, I mean he was staying late, AFTER a full day of work to get the speed and accuracy that was needed. If we shot a drill and he didn’t perform up to his standard, he would shoot it again, and again, and again, and again. I missed a lot of lunches because of him.
(Not sure about him now being one of the best around.)
