Golf is basically the same thing as uspsa.

Launch projectile at target.

Same thing happened to me. I tried to pick it up for 2 summers and live 2 minutes from a local course. Both times I hurt my hand so bad I couldn't pick anything up - even after taking lessons.

My son started at the youth golf clinic at the local course and I finally figured out I hurt my hand because I was holding the club wrong. Fixed that and have been on a tear since then. Gets me outside for a few hours and presents a similar fat guy friendly challenge.

Haven't dryfire or shot pistol in forever.

Did a appleseed rifle class and shot rifleman scores.

Took the old shadow out of the safe and dryfired a bit. Did some reloads and they seemed super easy to get right smoothly. Which is not what I experienced for like a year while practicing a ton.

I wasn't on the clock - but damn that mag was just going in smoothly.

Appleseed is a good organization.  I was an orange hat instructor for a while (before I started USPSA).
