Finally, we're offering coated bullets!

We have started coating our bullets with the highly regarded coating from Bayou Bullets website:

They can be found on our website as they become available.  We're working on coating all of our 9mm, .40/10mm, and .45ACP bullets.

Really happy to hear this news, SNS does a ton to support the shooting sports. I'll order more as soon as my stash of plain lead is depleted....

I am currently shooting a 40 using 180gr FMJ bullets with titegroup 4.7gr OAL 1.180. Any smoking/leading using Titegroup? Any load data? I am interested in these bullets......

I am using the same coating as SNS, I get mine from Donnie at Bayou and cast my own.  Titegroup produces some smoke for me with this coating, N320 does not.  I have also had good results with Solo and WST.

Jake Martens did a video that can be seen here using Titegroup:

We dont reccoment Titegroup as it's not ideal but it works if thats what you have.   Like stated above, N320/Solo 1000/WST are great choices.... and Autocomp has been good for us as well.

That's what I thought. Really don't want to change powders. I may give them a try with the TG see if they smoke anymore than the Precision Delta FMJ's. But if they don't lead the barrel, dies etc..?? I may just switch to WST.

My order came today, and I loaded up 200 rounds tonight.  I'll shoot them at a match Saturday and chrono them when I'm done.  They look good. Thanks

These chrono faster than either Bear Creek or Ibeji bullets, and smoke a bit less than Bear Creek.

I got some 9mm 124 gr starting to work up a load.  Impressed how little smoke there is.  Nice ship packaging too.

A short video comparing BBI, Montana Gold and the new coated bullets from SNS Casting. I used Solo 1000 and VV N320 out of a Stock 2. Obviously, the MG weren't as "smokey" as the non-jacketed ammo but there's not much that can be done about that. The smoke looks worse than it actually is, especially with it blowing at the camera. Jake Martens has a more detailed video posted using a Limited gun. I found there to be very little noticeable smoke from behind the gun, both at testing and at a local match that I shot them at. I did my best at the end to give a "behind the gun" view to get a better idea of what is seen. The side view always make it seems worse. The BBI's were a little more "smokey" than the SNS but I think it's safe to say that SNS has stepped up into the coated bullet market with a very quality product. I think BBI is planning on coming out with a new bullet with the same coating that SNS is currently using. Anyways, SNS has great prices ($76 per 1k of 147gr compared to BBI's $89 per 1k of 147gr) and even better shipping, Ususally, you'll get a tracking number the same day you order. The barrel was pretty much spotless after the local match and when loading them you don't get a black residue on your fingers. These are definitely a quality bullet for both practice and match ammo.
