I would not give up on it, I think I understand what is wrong from a physics standpoint, now I just need to see if my hypothesis is correct and my fix works.

How is that for a fucking run on sentence?

JB Weld and optimism. What could possibly go wrong.

JB Weld is acting as a shim essentially, not there for holding purposes. It is to eliminate the potential vertical torque created on a mount that is only attached in the rearward portion of the mount

There's always Open and PCC - much easier on the dot making equipment, maybe not so much on your soul.

Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Doodie Project?

You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

In Doodie, Veritas.

No interest in EVER shooting Open. PCC could be fun occasionally at most

I had the opportunity to shoot a buddy's open gun.  It was loud, it shot flat, the dot was cool.

It was like double the cost per round (compared to 9MM minor).  His barrel cracked and his gun is out being rebuilt - it will take like 10 weeks.

I do not believe an open gun can take the 1000+ round per month regimen that I give my CZ.

I know for a fact that I cannot justify spending $3K+ for a gun and $260 plus a month on ammo (afford yes, justify no).

On the flip side, I believe that an MPX is in my near future.

Everyone knows that running an open gun costs more than running a production gun. No doubt about it.

However, why buy a German car (let's say an Audi) that will basically double your expenses (i.e., maintenance and insurance) over a Honda?

Both cars will get you there.  Its a matter of how you want to get there...

You can put expensive rims, tires, and even change the computer chip to the Honda, but it will never ride like an Audi S7...

Personally, justification involves utility. One would get much more utility from a car than a gun; you can ride the car everyday, several times a day.

Thus I would be able to justify, say an Audi A7. However, only pompous asses would drive an S7 or R7.

But you can't deny that both the S7 and R7 are awesome cars to drive.

While I drive an American car, I shoot a European gun. There will be no Open gun!

Well, technically one can consider a CO gun is a cheap clone of an Open gun.

In South Florida traffic, it is like the difference between a $200 blow job from a playboy model and a $20 blow job from a crack whore. I am sure they pretty much feel the same.

Feel the same??  Maybe.  You'll get there with a crack whore or even manually and save $20.  Again, its all on how you want to get there...
