In general, state's conflict of interest law derives is that ..... shall not use his or her position to secure special privileges or exemptions for himself, herself, or others. (state employee, etc.)


The actions taken by USPSA to pay a board member IMHO, does not constitute a COI.  


1. Conflicts of Interest. Under certain circumstances, a contract or

transaction between a nonprofit corporation and a board member or an

organization in which a board member has a material financial interest is

It does however, violate the terms and policy of USPSA.
