Shot sho and who and was difficult to steady the gun. Kinda shaky, I think due to weight causing a bit of strain in my arm. Will take some time getting used to it.

Dude I dumped my Glock 17 for a cheap ass 75BD and have watched my scores take the fuck off.

Oh yeah, CZs will make your soft hands hard.  Mine chewed the fuck out of the web of my RH thumb like you wouldn't believe and had to wrap tape around the base of the thumb for like 2 weeks.  HTFU and shoot.

TBH, now that I've gone to the dark side, fuck striker pistols.

PS those red grips fucking rock.  I need a pair to match my red holster.  Not gay BTW

Slink...

I left the glock and went 1911 a couple of months ago, did not see a huge difference at 10 yd slow fire paper. The difference really shows when shooting 15 to 20 yard mini-poppers at speed. Hard tight shots are easier with a heavy gun and a good trigger.

In close hosing any gun is fine.

Told you the issues you would face initially and not to get disappointed. Work the hell out of it.

God doesn't want me to be a good shooter or he would make this easy.

Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better.

Yeah, I'm not really posting to complain about the issues, but just to note them for others considering the same move.

I know I will figure it out. Just feels like starting over again. Stuff had become so automatic with the glock.

Ok... so left hand position. Help me out.

Where I feel I want to put my left hand and thumb. There is a gigantic safety ridge of metal that digs in.

Changing it a bit here. This places the thumb under the safety, but feels too low and feels like would be less controlling of recoil.

If you don't ride the safety you could be killed in the streets. Just trying to look out for you.

Do I ride the safety with left thumb or right thumb? (I have been assuming right thumb)

It looks like that thing will never fit you. Just because I'm a good guy I'll trade you a slightly used SP01 with small safeties that will never hurt your hands. You pay the shipping.

Quit trying to hold your CZ like a Glock!!

Flat safeties, fat grips, or both.

But that is my main problem with the cz as well, my grip is too high for it.
