Hi, I'm Zach from BC Canada, and one day I'm gonna be the best prod (optics) shooter ever. No matches shot yet, Black Badge on the 22nd and 23rd.

BTW IPSC sucks.
I don't have much of a say in it. I'm gonna be starting with a cz85b, a fobus holster with a 10 degree forward cant (fucking forward cant), a custom kydex double mag pouch and a fobus double mag pouch. Gonna upgrade to the shadow probably sometime during or after my nursing degree.

Is that 10 degree Canadian or 10 degree USA? Makes a big difference, well it would except you have zero experience so what the hell are you doing measuring your cant? Are you a Juggalo?

Aren't you supposed to be out picking up litter and translating signs to Frenglish or something?

10 degree Israeli. I'm not sure actually, looks like some of the 15 degree cant holsters I've seen online. Enough that I have to remind myself to draw slightly forward instead of just straight up like a holster I used while I was shooting a bit in the Philippines.
You tell me
Be sure to start a diary describing in detail your amazing plan to outshoot the other 3 IPSC shooters in BC that shoot production and secretly wish they could shoot open but don't have the balls or cash to do so.

First BC, then Canada, then US, then the world. Then I get sponsored so I can get a Stock II. That's how it works, right? Or I just get so damn good that I can outshoot the local Open guys using a cocked and locked CZ85B.
How's it goin eh? We should stop and get Tim Hortons before the match eh? Been smokin the BC bud haven't you? Nothing but a bunch of lumberjack coffee drinking dope smoking motherfuckers up there.
Don't drink coffee, don't smoke bud, don't smoke period. Sorry, wrong stereotype.
Can't even spell Zack property WTF wrong up there?
Zach comes from Zacharias which comes from Zechariah.

Get the canada sp01 shadow
I'm seeing Shadow's all over Canada from $825-$950 in price, the 2 Canadian Editions I can find are $1,369 and $1,600. Any reason besides what looks like a competition hammer, and the red grips n baseplates to get them? I could order the comp. hammer on my own and install it with the help of atlas' post when I decide to fuck about with a Shadow, not sure about the baseplates, but they definitely don't justify the $400-700 price difference to me.

The Shadow is good to go out of the box and less of a headache in terms of fucking around with your 85 and losing springs, breaking shit, and if you find an IPSC RO that might think your Ghetto Shadow isn't production legal. Buy once and buy right. The 85 will be a nice backup gun too or something to shoot while you get the shadow. I was between making a ghetto shadow but opted for one and it's worth the price difference if you aren't sure on what to work on with your gun. If anything while you run the shadow you'll learn more about the platform.
