What are your goals for 2015?

Seriously, all joking aside I am finding it harder to set goals for this year.
Last year's goal was to make M.
I question whether your goal should be to make M or should you take it down a level to the skills you need to be a M. 1 second reloads. El Prez with a HF of 11. Whatever.

God doesn't want me to be a good shooter or he would make this easy.
Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better.

- Call my shots more consistently.
- Eliminate all penalties by calling my shots more consistently.
- Eliminate small fumbles on reloads.
- Master the "Dots drill"
- Regain past levels of fitness, athleticism, and agility.
- Dry fire more honestly, intensely, and consistently.
- Win a level II match in Prod Div. (AL, GA sectional are the two I know I'll make it to for sure)
I don't have classification goals because I don't plan on competing for anything other than 1st in the division and in that case it doesn't matter what letter is next to your name.

1 - Top 20 European rifle championship, top 10 nordic, top 3 norwegian nationals and win norwegian 2 gun nationals.
2 - Buy an open division Glock and shoot better than lots of people with expensive race guns.
3 - Troll more americans on doodie, achieve some serious butthurt.
Met my goal of getting a doodie warning point this year.
Those were a bit weak. Top 10 European should be more like it.
Also, get a doodie warning point in 2015 too, Why settle for what you have, always strive for more.

1. M class Production (eventually)
2. Rank well in my class for the majors I'm planning on shooting (Bluegrass, Ohio, and Indiana)
By practicing:
3a. Dots
3b. Shot calling
3c. Mixing up paper and steel
3d. Reload on the move more efficiently.

I made A class in my last match of 14, so:
1. M class Production (eventually)
2. Rank well in my class for the majors I'm planning on shooting (Bluegrass, Ohio, and Indiana)
3. Classify in Limited, A or M.
If you actually care about #1&2 you should give up on #3 right now. Unless Indiana gets bumped to an early season match or you go shoot some late in the year classifier match in limited with your production gear.

I gave up on #3 while editing my post when you quoted it.

At your age you need a more attainable goal
And I'd stop buying green bananas too
Which do you figure is less likely, waking up in 2015 or the boner?
I thought green bananas are good for you? Or is that a not so sutle hint about my lifespan?
I'm getting worried about myself now, thanks a lot. My grandfather lived to be 102 and was the terror of the nursing home ladies right up unitl the end but he lived a lot less stressful life than me for sure.

The Boner, not waking up.
Green bananas are fine as long as an old codger like you is not waiting for them to ripen
I sincerely hope you live long enough to wake up without a boner, the first time it happens it's like the end of the world but it just happens sporadically so don't take it too seriously.
Green bananas give me the shits anyway so I buy them ripe. HEH

1. get gooder at shooting, particularly movement and speed on partials and no-shoots.
2. Make M in SS or prod.
3. cut a few seconds of my steel challenge totals.
4. Ride my dirtbike more in the mountains in the summertime.
5. Sub 2 second bill drills with all A's.
6. Develop a non-sucky wrist shot in hockey.
By going to ss nats instead of production, my major match schedule is loaded more towards late spring and early summer, which should make achieving #4 a little easier.
I can help you with one of these. Seriously. I shoot better at hockey than USPSA. Too bad I'm so slow.

I am torn on this. When I stopped being so hard on myself and over trying at matches (especially classifier matches) I got a shit ton better and in a hurry. So maybe my goals should just be to practice twice a week live fire, dry fire every day, lose 25 pounds and get as good as I can get...but that sounds like pussy stuff so I guess I'll just say top 20 at Production nationals since that can be measured more easily than just "get gooder".
