Yep last I checked the chemical properties of lubricant only persist if circulated properly by a pump. I am with you now. Toothpaste stays where you put it and doesn't need a lube pump for proper function. That is the next big thing.

I finally got ahold of some Lucas extreeme duty gun oil.
Overall it feels very slightly thicker viscosity than Cuda lube. It has a more pronounced smell, an artificial berry smell (kinda like red loctite smells) which I don't like.

It does seem to stay put a little better than Cuda Lube. After lubing the gun the same way as with Cuda Lube, there is less running out at the rear of the slide and at the muzzle. Admittedly I'm probably overlubing with both oils a little.
