So 6 weeks ago Mrs. LC went to a Steel Challenge match to watch and decided she would do it after emphatically stating she would never shoot a competition.

So this Saturday will be her first SC match. She has been dry firing this week, ordered herself a belt, I ordered her pouches and a holster ( I'll post picks tomorrow ).

So I had about 200 rounds of match ammo loaded, but loaded another 320 today figuring she would shoot a couple hundred, I'd shoot a bit and all would be good.

So we get there, I set up Smoke and Hope deep in the shooting bay so she can go back and practice some long shots too.

So I get out 4 mags and load each with 17, then load the 4 with 17 again, then load the 4 with 17 again, then load the 4 with 17 again, then load the 4 with 17 again... Ok, you get the idea, she shot over 500 rounds of ammo!
WTF

Starting from low ready, her best time was 3.68

And forgot to add, she's shooting a Shadow with a Doctor Sight. She's preparing for Production Optics

I've created a monster

If your wife is anything like Guano's, she'll want an Accu-Shadow for a nightstand gun.

She carries a P-09
Shotgun by the bed

Guano Loco needs to straighten Loca the fuck up

I can tell you one thing, Mrs. LC likes the dot, she has already inquired about having one on her carry gun

Only problem, soon she will know how much all the guns in your safe really cost.

Stick a fork in him, he's done.

I've been working on Loca to convince her that the 30 Carbine is a better home gun than any pistol.

Light/small, shoulder fired, 30 rounds of 110 gr x up to 2000 fps of 30 caliber goodness, easy to rack bolt, simple controls.

She's working up a quite a collection now - M&P-9, M&P-22, M&P Shield, Kel-Tec P32, and an M1 Carbine. Something for any occasion. Of course one mag with the Unicorn and you know what she wants to shoot.

I'm thinking maybe a CZ-75B in 9, preferably stainless but don't think they come in full ambi controls. Maybe a Stock I, not sure.

She actually ordered herself a leather belt, looked like 1.5", a little thin by my standards but girlz.

Was that the ProShop or someone else who did the hanger? Also, are those the aluminium mag pouches?

The Pro Shop just got the silver ones in.

Those are the metal DAA Race Master, might be aluminum, not sure. One thing is for sure, you need a lot of loctite as there are a shit load of screws and adjustments. I've been using them for about 6 weeks and love them. The came by mistake, I ordered the plastic version, but once I saw them I decided to keep'em

I figured she is starting out, may as well start the correct way.

Took me about 3 full days of dryfire to have it sorted out.

Bullets out allows the most rearward mag to be so much more forward its a joke. DAA is the best for this too.

Ergonomically, bullets out is so much better! Think economy of motion

For the Ghost pouches, don't the belt attachments govern how close the pouches can be to each other?

Dude, you are a dumbass, you just lost a gun and doubled all your shooting expenses. Didn't anyone tell you to give her a .357 purse revolver with pink grips and call it good. You're fucked now.

No doubt my shooting costs just went way up, but it's all good with me. As for guns, I have my ACCU and a CZC Shadow. The dot is on a 3rd Shadow slide I bought specifically for the dot.

She has no respect for a bag of 500 bullets tho

Better teach her how to fill primer tubes and case gage while you run the press.
