Man. That’s a quantum leap in improvement. I need to do this.

It's been a great learning experience. It felt really awkward trying to line up on and shoot targets through a port while moving three months ago. Now it's no big deal. Still lots of room for improvement, though.


Upcoming project is to run this kind of drill with a variety of movement speeds and compare hit factors. I want to try putting the targets at a variety of distances and see how the speed and points trade off.

Post the results. I’d love to see that.

And as much as this forum hates on CO and especially PCC, those divisions are doing wonders for my foot work. With a dot, lots of ammo and particualrly with a freaking rifle in your hands... there’s much less reason to post up for half the targets we shoot. Since they’re both still minor, you have to actully hit As on the move too.
I won an IDPA match once. It was neat.
