Looking for decent pair of electronic ears for competition.
What do you recommend?

I've tried the $200+ ProEars stuff, didn't notice any difference. I like these Peltors since they have auto-shutoff (just remember to reset them during long matches) and the cheaper version would burn through batteries. I double-plug with the SureFire's and find them pretty comfortable, easy to use, and just as good as the best foam plug ones out there.

The Brownells Pro-ears knockoffs snap headbands on a regular basis if you have a big head. Got 2 broken sets here waiting to be sent back. They do swap them out with another equally fragile set without complaining though.

I have the stupid expensive MSA Sordin. They are not as awesome as I thought they would be.
If you don't already have them, get the Gel Cup upgrade. The gel ear cups provide a better seal and a massive increase in comfort, it's a must have (#HY80A for Peltor, #MSA60092 for Sodin)
I will probably use them some this winter but they are intolerable to me in the summer time.
I suggestion you harden the fuck up. If you're still too delicate to handle wearing them all day after the gel cup upgrade, perhaps you should turn in your man card and get the bruce jenner treatment.
