What results in the better pistol, a Stock II with work, or a Stock II Xtreme?

Not sure, this is my first unicorn so I'll let other weigh in.

I will compare it to the STI DVC.

I'm pretty sure I could have bought a limited and added the xtreme shit and saved some cash, but I want to see what their high end product looks like. If it's better than the DVC, I'll do a full switch to tanfoglio.

Why did you have to load long for your STI? The new ones I have seen run factory length ammo fine.

I haven't felt a S2 Xtreme but would be hard pressed to believe it is any better than an S2 with a few key parts and work. I think a lot of parts are 'Xtreme' because perception more than actual value. Plus I prefer hard chrome finishes.

The mags spring, followers, and the feed ramp combined cause some trouble if you go with sammi spec for the 40 s&w. Springs usually have shit tension, followers are cut at an odd angle, and the feed ramp is a bit too steep so the nose of the bullet plows into the feed ramp and gets stuck.

The last three STI's I owned were all brand new and all had this same inconsistent issue and loading long plus fixing the other shit kept the issue at bay. Even my 2015 DVC had the same issue...

Want to see if the best Tanfoglio offers is better than STI's over priced shit.

Once I get it, I'll do a boobtube video with a side by side comparison and post it in the reviews section (or may be the shit I don't care about section).

This un-bias review should prove entertaining.

One day I'll lose all sensibility and get the  Bersa Thunder Pro XT just to see how it is.

I fingered a Stock II Extreme at FLOP. Frame had better checkering than either of my chrome Stock 2s. Otherwise the trigger (pull) sucked, the grips are too thin, the finish is attractive but not as useful as chrome, and Eric's basepads are pretty but retarded. They use a allen-head set screw for retention on the magazine. The dimensions are the same as a Springer Precision basepad.

Ugh, Twinkie you crushed me.. Feel like I just got one of those "it's not you, it's me" talks.

Have you got ahold of a STI DVC? If so, how did it match up against the X2?

Flexmoney, you can bet your ass I'll be more bias than Fox News at a Trump debate.

Actually, my report out will be more like one of those Bigfoot videos: bunch of grainy video with camera shaking worse than Micheal J Fox reporting from the selfy convention.

One bad STI, maybe it's the gun, 3 bad STI's maybe it's the owner.

This, for pretty much every manufacturer except S&W revolvers. Although I did recently get the first one in a while that I haven't had to send back (I did send back the three before that though!).

Agree on the basepad's, I could not believe how they were secured to the tube. Fucking Stupid would be an understatement!! Gun was sexy tho. I thought the grip with dimensionally similar to a Shadow with the grips he had on it. Great Checkering for sure

That is a bit crass.  I'd have went with Quagmire's left hand after he discovered internet porn.

Is "3" the same as "three"... ?

When I was in school you were supposed to spell out a number it was only one word; three as opposed to 23.  That may have changed with the common core style manual.
