Pro is not as rigid, has name tag holder, has better velcro, and is a bit thinner in profile. Has a nicer belt keeper as well. In short, looks better, not ad rigid.
Ok, but that leads to another newbie question. Do I want a belt with more rigidity? Is there an advantage to the Pro being less rigid, or is it just a matter of preference?

More rigid is better, but I don't think it makes a huge difference. I'm shallow enough that the looks of the Pro matter to me.
Ok, that's what I figured. I'm cheap, so I'm good with the non-pro. 5 bucks is 5 bucks. Or is it 5 bucks are 5 bucks? We may never know

Ole Katie has a Dickie so it's still Brucie. Even with a twat job, you can't change that damn male DNA.
Stiffer than Kaitlyn Jenner in heels at a gay biker bar full of lesbians, twinks and bears (cause I'm not really sure what gets Kaitlyn stiff anymore).
