Once all the details are released on the mass.gov website, I'd expect the SAF, NRA, and GOAL to be filing lawsuits... if this stands then you can expect other states to quickly follow suit.

4. Begin using drones for surveillance in "troubled" or "high risk" neighborhoods

It's always a good plan to steal the civil liberties of the poor first. Poors can't afford lawyers to sue.

The details were released this morning: http://www.mass.gov/...afety/awbe.html

It's going to be ugly. Legislative session is just about over and the AG isn't accountable to, well, anyone.

Rarely do I get upset over the politics of shooting, but at her press conference she said something along the lines of; "the gun lobby says we don't need more laws, we just need to enforce the laws on the books. Today, we will begin doing just that."

Touché.

Since the overwhelming majority of the states do not have some sort of AWB, this mostly sucks for NJ, MD, and.................?

At some point the history of the Intolerable Acts will repeat itself

MA just took it up a notch, closing the "assault weapon loophole". Basically if you own a post-1994 AR/AK you're a felon, but don't worry they won't prosecute you. For now.

Where's the best place in A6 to move to? Atlanta and Charlotte are appealing due to job airport proximity (Charlotte moreso because fuck Delta) but FL has some perks too...

I'm in Birmingham, has it's up sides, but Greenville, SC is pretty nice.

I've said it before and will say it again.  Liberals are smug because they think those who believe in the rule of law will never rise up violently.

They are wrong.

I used to post things like this. That was back when staying "off the list" was just something to chuckle about.

At some point it doesn't matter any more and I think that point is fast approaching.

My advice is start getting good with rifles that can reach out some ways

FIFY

Liberals don't believe that violence is effective, unavoidable or occasionally necessary.

Too bad. I wonder if indoor Nats will move now too for idpa? And I have a few M&P-15's and for an off the rack gun they are just fine. Is anything other than history and a physical plant in place keeping these companies in cruddy parts of NE? 'Cause let's face it, having been to idpa indoor nats that place is hardly a palace of modernity.
