Arik formerly of team SIg put this "Shooters Summit" thing together. I think it is basically a bunch of one hour videos with different timmy and gamerfag shooter guys.

It can be had for free or paid for if you want access when you like.

It is absolutely worth the mouse click!

It is interesting to listen to so many diverse top-level shooters sharing common training themes, dryfire programs and an incredible level of commitment dedicated to achieving their goals.

Apparently I am passionate about shooting, but not really committed to it. I blame the ankle monitor and midget porn.

If it weren't for the midget porn, the ankle monitor would leave you nothing to except for reload ammo and dryfire...

On a serious note, however, your first sentence is spot on. I *want* to become a GM. However, nothing I am doing with my shooting hobby is moving me there anytime soon. I'll meander into A-class very shortly, but that's as far as I'll likely get unless I knuckle down and start practicing like I fucking care.

Unless Zero and Yeager are part of it, I am not wasting my time.

Went and looked at a little detail.  (Gave fake email address).   I have a LOT of respect for many shooters on the list.

BUT, it feels real cheesy.  Being straight forward here.  I would rather just buy a DVD or such from shooter X and be done.  OK, it's available for 48 hours.  Hell I have DVDs that sat for 2 months before I had time on a flight or something to watch.

The way it is packaged and presented is beneath some of the shooters on the list.  Just my opinion.

It is someone else's idea of the Panty Oh collection.

Where is Pinkass, Yeager, Pazooka and Tex Grebner?

I would pay damn good money for a Tex Grebner instructional DVD.

Fits the old paradigm of "those who can, do. Those who can't, shoot themselves in the thigh."

Dude, he's been "downrange" and "seen the elephant".

Not all of us are cheap. I paid and have already listened to all of the Comp guys on a six hour road trip.

Now he just needs to fix the audio files so they don't stop playing 2/3s of the way through on an iPhone when using Safari.

Does it count as being "downrange" or "seeing the elephant" if you are shooting at yourself?

I followed the link, and it appears to be free in mid December.  I'll watch them.  if there was no option for free I'd consider buying it as well, since one DVD is usually 1-1.5 hours long, and this is 20 hours from the same guys for the same price.

This is definitely good stuff.  I think all of us can learn from this collective wisdom.  You know why you go to the Shooters Summit?  Because it's there.

Now we are getting somewhere.

Personally, I just like to hear the sounds of their voices. It is soothing and reassuring.

I need that after my accidental stabbing of my chest the other day putting my pin on.

I need my confidence back.
