They keep talking about an All Access Pass, and how we need to buy now before the price goes up. How the fuck do I buy one? I have been all over the shooterssummit.com page and there's nothing.

I want to give you money, Arik Levy. I am trying to give you $20. Why will you not take my $20.

I figured out how to buy one with PayPal from the screen of an iPhone 6 Plus driving 77 mph at night on the highway last weekend. I listened to most of them heading to/from Atlanta.

Figure that shit out. It wasn't hard!

That's a fact! .......So far it's interesting. There is no magic, but I didn't expect any. Do you?   It has inspired me to dry fire more. I hate dry fire, but I have to improve so I'm committing.

I do wish they had varied hosts. Or varied questions a bit more.

By the time he asked the fifth guy about that damned "pull and pin" trigger control technique I wanted to throw my phone against the wall.

Yes. We get it. Teaching cops to pin the trigger to the rear is bad juju. We all agree. Stop getting all 20 guys to go on the same ten minute rant about it.

Arik said specifically that he asked the same basic questions to all interviewees, so yeah all 24 are gonna have that.

Found it: http://shooterssummit.com/order/

There's no link to it from shooterssummit.com. Had to wait for a sponsored FB post to pop up.

So is this all the "experts" discussing topics among themselves, or just a series of individual podcasts that all happen to get dumped on a website at the same time?

I'm don't think that's what "summit" means.

No.

Yes. This. All right about hour long.

I don't think that's what "summit" means.

You're right. But Whatever.

Seeklander's description of trigger pull was interesting.

Stegger is dryfiring, no surprises for Unicorn groupies.

Manny's airsoft was slightly interesting.

Vogel is gripping hard, yo.

Anderson is air guitaring Van Halen (jk, I didn't see his yet...)

Taran talks about Taran.

The lineup looks good.  Seems to be well worth a sawbuck go not have to go cherry picking from different podcasters to get all of this in one spot and not have to go searching around, assuming  the interviewer did a decent job.

But some of the instructors are not like the others.

Ben Stoegger

Shannon Smith

Bob Vogel

Manny Bragg

Kyle Lamb

etc

All awesome.

oh yeah, also gun store clerk-turned-podcaster John Johnston.  Guarantee Arik put him in there just to get a plug on Ballistic Radio.  (If he put Johnston in there for any other reason he's an idiot.)

Taran's was the most entertaining.

I personally found the ones who turned out to be cops that instruct and who compete to be the most interesting. Yong Lee's was more enjoyable than I expected. Vogel's is really good. Shannon Smith.

I might actually be able to stomach Anderson without Van Halen blaring every three minutes, and 12 minutes of shooting talk in a. 48 minute podcast. If he talks about his dog once, I'm closing that browser window immediately and finding someone worth my time.

Does it count as being "downrange" or "seeing the elephant" if you are shooting at yourself?

Fuck yeah. These other fools are just shooting targets and shit. Tex is going live fire both ways! It takes balls to put yourself against yourself. Win or lose you get shot!

Respect!

Was surprised I was able to listen to Anderson!

He actually was able to tie two sentences together without busting out into a verbal VH blow job!
You serious, Clark?

If he didn't spend 28% of the show talking about his dogs, I might actually listen to it. Bought the summit. Own it. Haven't been able to make myself listen to him due to his 45 minute podcasts with 8 minutes of shooting info packed into them.

Trust me, I know what you're talking about. Ive not been able to listen to a single podcast of his. I was able to make thru his interview. I was surprised!

Taran Butler's interview was more annoying than Andersons. Of course, YMMV.

I watched stegger. He was pretty good. Was funny when he said to arik 'you know what his problem is right?' And arik goes 'ummmm yeah course I do' lol.

Taran was educational. I learned 2 things:

1: Taran had a word of the day calendar
2: the word of the day was 'phenom'.

Props to anyone who can tell me how many times he used that word. I'm going to say 15+.

But I still think Taran has the best hair in shooting, the best shoot from the hip technique and I like that he had 40 infinities. Maybe he can throw one my way. A guy can hope. I only have one infinity. No wonder I can't win shit.
