Put Phil's weight limit back in place and the division will be Perfection.

I guess that evens out stage planning issues at Optics Nationals between CO, Open, and PCC.

USPSA is in such a rush to make everyone on the www happy...the progression of this is sickening. Don't worry though...we should have 2000+ P320 X-Fives built and shipping a few weeks before the Optic Nats. It comes with four 21rd 9mm 140mm legal mags INCLUDED. Plus, they're easily modified to accept 23rds. Did I mention they come Optic ready?

P-09 holds 19+1, not sure if there is an extension to add more rounds or not.

Alma posted about an extension for that POS Sig 320 holding 23 rounds

So, we all wanted the the weight limit raised so we could use steel guns. But now it looks like the CO gamer gun is gonna be plastic.

Go figure

Phil's 320x5 might be the ticket

Sameness is comforting. Change is bad.

We should lock down the rules to ensure nothing ever changes.

Where did we come up with 140 mags for CO? I did not see the increase specified in the minutes.

So we have a rule change that could greatly effect what pistol people will choose to shoot that goes into effect less than 2 months before the national championship for that division?

Genius.

It's true CO had become a stale historical relic going perhaps twelve months without a drastic change in equipment rules. We are doomed to repeat the past if we don't make sudden rule changes.

Two things clearly spurred this change. First, CO was supposed to be a well populated resort for production loving failing-eyed geezers and cheap tacttards but it just hasn't materialized. It turns out most poor sighted geezers have too much dignity to shoot CO and the tactards have been cannibalized into minor rifle shooting with magazines the length of a walking stick.

Second, asshole RO's who shoot Production and don't respect the dot have been threatening to send the few CO shooters who do exist to Open, knowing full well they can't afford to shoot in that division.

The board had to react and the response is genius. Everyone knows what brings new shooters in is the potential for gaming their way up the HOA food chain through equipment purchases - what else can explain shooting a rifle at a handgun match?

Well now the CO division gets the buff it needed, as 23+ rounds and the dot give a coveted advantage against traditionalist production shooters and it is affordable to the common asshole. Expect CO to soar from a measly 4% of participation to perhaps 5.5-6%! Remember you only compete against yourself if someone better is in your division and you only compete against your division unless your equipment puts your division in reach of HOA!

MBX will make more money for this.

Better tell them to make 140mm mag for Glocks and M&Ps for CO shooters.
