I guess the question was a little vague.

How bout this.

What do you think about shooting the am and the pm?

I'm hoping to get some good info on this match. I've never gone to steel match bigger than a state championship, let alone travel 2000 miles to do it.

What divisions are guys shooting, and how many?

I'm going and shooting 2. RFRO and PCCO. Great group of guys run the match so it should be worth the trip.

I'm not vague, I'm mysterious. But good question, we don't seem to do am/pm format around here.

I went last year to try and win the side match. I failed horribly. The match seemed like a fun event (for a steel match) and the people involved bring in a ton of sponsors/prizes. It's at a different venue this year (same club is hosting the Mid-Atlantic Sectional and Area 8) so it should be just as good or better.

What kind of side match was it? I'm all about scooping up some rad prizes!

Shoot a Baby Eagle at at plate rack from low ready. You had to go 5 for 5.  I could not for the life of me adjust to the fact that it was hitting very low (3 dot sights, POI was behind the dot).  I didn't go 5 for 5 on any of my runs so I didn't even get a time.

I dunno, didn't shoot it. Was passing through on my way somewhere else and only stopped in for about 30 mins. Couple of my friends took home some cash though.

Finished the 2000+ mile drive, now a couple days of recovery and preparation. Very excited to ether do well or crash and burn. I'm just glad to be away from work for awhile. Shooting PM all three days, should be a blast!

Lel 2000 miles, fuck that. Unless there's free hookers and blow no match is worth driving that far.
