I didn't realize it was an L-frame.  I'm not always up on all the revolver variants (I only have ~4).  No L-frame in 38/357, >6?

Titanium...for a better trigger pull?  (I only have 1 titanium cylinder...just to drop the weight of my J frame.)

L frames in 6-7 shot have been a thing for a long time.

38/357 is old and broken down, everyone that shoots revolvers and doesn't suck(lol, short list) was either already shooting 38super or switched to 9mm because 9mm is way fucking better.

titanium is fucking stupid, it peens like steel, coating comes off, and is otherwise fucking dumb. It it is lighter and lowers the overall gun weight which is probably the only actual real benefit.  The ti cylinders were originally developed for those shitty scandium frames to make the whole package as light as possible.

in theory, it being lighter makes lower trigger pull possible because it is less mass to get spinning, especially when pulling the trigger fast, but that shit is all fucking dumb and irrelevant unless you are miculbak.  nobody can pull a revolver trigger with .10-.12 splits except him, everyone else can barely break a .20.  and he doesn't even run a light trigger,it does not rebound fast enough and he can outrun it if to light.

A thread about revolvers turns to a thread about blankets.

Generally, I find the two topics strangely equivalent as far as promoting scintillating conversation.

At least one of the topics has something to do with shooting.

Not serious shooting....

...and then there's a case to be made for what happened under the duvets.

Put a little down in it and you have a winter shooting duvet.

Can you elaborate on that...what makes 9mm way better?

For me it would eliminate one more caliber. I can see a benefit in using 9mm in revolver. Kind of a drag converting over to load 38spl a half dozen times a year.

Probably way easier to rat brass when no one is looking.

Cutting down to only 9mm is more incentive to 1050 auto drive ( like I need more reasons ) After a 500 round reloading session on a 550 I'd almost rather get punched in the balls.

did you not read?   everyone that doesn't suck switched, that is the only thing that matters.

duh!!!!

if they weren't already shooting 38 super, they were shooting long colt(a very few) or short colt(stupid).

and nobody cares what the D class brigade on enos thinks, and don't say carmoney cause he does short colt and has a all the pieces, so he sees the light of small case.

38anything is fine if  that is all you load.

You are still fucked needing same headstamp, matching moonclips, and all the other stupidity that comes with shooting revolvers whether 9mm or 38anything, so if you can shoot the cheapest most common caliber then why would you not?

I loaded 500 9mm in a night on a 550 once. Then I loaded 900 in a day once.

Then I came to my senses and bought a 1050 / MBF.

I loaded 1000 on 30 minutes once.

Then I came to my senses and bought a Mark 7.

1050 auto drive is #1 on my list next year. Unfortunately I need to slum through the rest of this season.
