I didn't realize it was an L-frame. I'm not always up on all the revolver variants (I only have ~4). No L-frame in 38/357, >6?
Titanium...for a better trigger pull? (I only have 1 titanium cylinder...just to drop the weight of my J frame.)
L frames in 6-7 shot have been a thing for a long time.
38/357 is old and broken down, everyone that shoots revolvers and doesn't suck(lol, short list) was either already shooting 38super or switched to 9mm because 9mm is way fucking better.
titanium is fucking stupid, it peens like steel, coating comes off, and is otherwise fucking dumb. It it is lighter and lowers the overall gun weight which is probably the only actual real benefit. The ti cylinders were originally developed for those shitty scandium frames to make the whole package as light as possible.
in theory, it being lighter makes lower trigger pull possible because it is less mass to get spinning, especially when pulling the trigger fast, but that shit is all fucking dumb and irrelevant unless you are miculbak. nobody can pull a revolver trigger with .10-.12 splits except him, everyone else can barely break a .20. and he doesn't even run a light trigger,it does not rebound fast enough and he can outrun it if to light.
