Had a free afternoon, decided to go as I had a new load for my pistol that I needed to try out.

Pretty fun 1.5 hours, seemed odd to only shoot about 100 rounds at a match

Got 2nd in Open, A Master beat me pretty good(82.7%) I shot Minor vs him Major(not really sure how all that shakes out), 5th overall.

I forgot a reload that cost me about 4 seconds, and had 1 mike that also knocked me down a few spots.

Anyway, got used to the cycle/slide timing of the new load, may have to hit a few more for practice under the "match" pressure.

You've been a member on this USPSA forum for 2 years and it took you the last 7 to get to a match? Jebus.

100 rounds, so 4ish stages?  In an hour and a half, that ain't bad at all.  Start in the morning and you've got the whole day left to do stuff.

I'll award you the 'Procrastinator of the Year' award.

Not right now.

Maybe tomorrow.

We'll see....

I had 1, 10 sec penalty that dropped me from 2nd to 5th, otherwise I was 5 seconds off the M class winner.

Must be some sandbaggers, 2-4th were B, then me, then 2 more B ahead of the A class guys.

I think that was the standings, pretty close anyway.

Sept of 2008 was my last USPSA match.  We don't count Steel Challenge as an USPSA match, right ?

I keep wanting to go shoot one but the fear of sucking keeps me from taking that step....................

I just wanted to see how a 3 gunner would do in a pistol only competition. ;)

I don't think they give time penalties in uspsa pistol matches?

Last I checked uspsa/ipsc is hit factor scoring. Time plus is for the cool kids in 3 gun. Or time penalties in idpa.

Yeah, I went back and checked the results - no time penalty.

But on the nook at the end of the stage it was on my total time ???

I'll be the first to admit , I have no idea how USPSA scoring works.

On 1 stage the M shooter had a smoking time, but 3-4 misses , I was 3 seconds slower and had none, he still beat me.

Never mind I went to get specifics, now it shows i did beat him on 2 of 4 stages, but results only show points now no times or HF ???

This ought to be a lesson...ALWAYS be the scorekeeper.

Unless otherwise noted, expect that all my posting here is in true Doodie fashion.  If my post somehow upsets your sensibilities, well...there ya go.

Wrong, have your friend be the scorekeeper. Focus on your shooting not a friggn tablet.
Full retard finally got me HOA!
