Quick review of the Brass Collector.

Nut gatherer repurposed as a brass collection tool.  Works great on smooth surfaces; blows on rough surfaces, particularly gravel.  Love it for the dirt range.  The end.

Video shows the brass collector in action, in a real life scenario recovering 38SC brass.  Operated weak hand only due to holding the camera; it works better freestyle both hands.

I have one and it works well but it picks up all other debris that you may not desire like gravel and useless steel casings etc. Best if brass is scattered around hard pack clean range. It you ad simply in one location shooting static it is easier to just pic it up. Your mileage may vary. Buy it so we can feed the MFCEO.

I thoroughly enjoyed the editing and music.

1.  The music was, as previously mentioned, top notch.  No one appreciates that kind of thing nowadays.  Very nice work.

2.  You were on a roll until the "buy it at Stegler's website" showed up near the end.  Such nuthuggery should be left to the peasants.

3.  Open and 38SC are dumb.

4.  A bunch of open shooters rolling the brass collector around at the same time following a stage or a match while competing for a finite supply of 38thisorthat would be fun to watch; I'm picturing myself doing so in a lawn chair, shaded, with a cold drink, while I hear the theme song from Benny Hill playing in my head.

I used to work in an a'mond orchard.  They used farm machinery way bigger than that for picking up nuts.

P.S.  They're called a'monds cuz they knock the 'ell out of them (again, with a way bigger machine), of course they'd be hard to maneuver in some of the smaller pistol bays.

Here's the knocker:

P.P.S.

1. The music is old school documentary gay. The actual sound of the knocker and sweeper would've been much better.

2. Can't buy this shit on the pro shop.

3. A'monds may be good for you and lower your cholesterol level (almost as good as statins).

4. Usually one guy working the machine and a bunch of other people and kids standing around, sometimes picking twigs out of the swept nuts (looks like the new machine eliminates this extra labor and source of farm injuries).

Wait, I smell more than donuts...

used one of those at an indoor range for picking up brass, you could "mow" the range and get a lot of brass really quickly.

really need a brass picker that works on gravel or grass.

I don't see why you guys are all hating on snake oil, I drink some every morning and never get sick. Except these herpies I can't seem to get rid of.

I've got one, and I'd buy another if I lost it. Works better on some surfaces than others. It picks up little brass-sized rocks and 22 cases too, but It's is way better than bending over repeatedly with a fucked up back.

To be fair, it is at it's best in a brass-rich environment like practice. If you're only picking up a few pieces of brass after a shooter at a match, the little trash-picker-uppers you buy at the hardware store work better around raised fault lines.

Nut grabber thing plus paster gun are the new tools of range operators.

Cut brass policing time by 50% and helped me save money on car insurance.

Is the one above better than the other one with the blue fingers?

Picking up 500 cases at the end of a practice is the worst.
