I switched from a glock to cz and want something to use on the frame rails and barrel lugs. I've been using ewl, but it's too runny. I'd prefer something non-toxic.

Is slide glide as good as the shills make it out to be? What do you guys use?

Dont try the food oil getting shilled on the interwebs. This stuff is proven by the Navy:

You're shooting lead projectiles and breathing vaporized nitrocellulose and lead styphnate but want your lubricant to be non-toxic? Got it.

Slide glide is fine if you want something viscous., but you won't want to spread it on your toast or your asshole out whatever other use case demands that it be non-toxic.

Slip2000 makes grease too. There's other good stuff but I'm on my phone and it's a pain to look stuff up.

Just get whatever is cheap. That said, the cudalube bottle is tight. Once I've used it up, I'll probably keep refilling it with whatever I have on hand

Just get marine grease. It won't run off the slides during the rain showers at your next match.

Needle oiler bottles from I forget where. Midway? Amazon? Were like $2 each.

Fill with Mobil 1. Use where high $$$ oils previously lived. Use high temp red synthetic grease whereever your slide glide used to go.

Enjoy an identically functioning firearm on like $3 per year of actual cost for gun lubricant. It's just metal on metal with a high temperature environment, which is what motor oil deals with daily in a far more severe fashion.

I'm guessing if something does not explicitly state that it is non-toxic, than it is toxic?

Do you use lite year round?

I looked at the cudalube and I'm not sure what makes it more gooder than Axel grease, which I'm pretty sure it is anyways.

It must be good because it has mil in the name.

That's what I was thinking as an alternative. Seeing as how slide glide is most likely toxic anyways, I may as well save some money.

Yep, I tried bearing grease once. Way too thick. CBF'd trying cheaper greases when a tub of slide glide lasts forever.
