Whilst browsing match results from this weekend, saw that Gabe picked up the Limited Division win shooting minor (and, I assume, concealment).

That's certified badass.

Also saw that Gooldy won Open and the overall by a generous margin.  Well done.

Congratulations to you both!

Thanks. Yes, Gabe snagged the win against a strong Limited field shooting the handy-dandy 34. He had a mag issue on one stage that cost him a lot of time and both Greg and Vinh seemed like they were shooting good matches, so props to him for overcoming the obstacles.

My damn gun broke (again) on Thursday in practice, but I didn't know it until I was unbagging before the first stage while I was in the deep hole. Had to borrow a gun I had never touched before, which was less than ideal. Especially since my gun is a full size 5.4" plastic gripped gun that weighs 39 oz, and the gun I borrowed was a middy evo gripped Atlas that weighs ~56 and wouldn't run with my big stick.

NickBlasta shot a super clean match, congratulations dude.

Columbia Cascade is very competitive and adheres to the roots of practical shooting by testing "all" aspects of shooting skill you may need to protect the food court, or to take down a water buffalo on safari. You can expect to go prone on 45 yard partials, 18 yard swingers, and a couple 30 round open 5 yard hoser stages; as well as stages that force you to swing from a rope shooting off hand (legit). CCS does not allow losers in the section and they appropriatly shun "grand bagging" as well. You will not see "name" shooters in the rolls of recent matches because they avoid the regular challenges CCS warriors face in even "local" matches. But if you peruse past events the names will show up...in 3rd, 5th, etc. If you go back even farther you'll see the Great Eric G. failed to win a match here once...and he hasn't been back since.

I like to rewatch election night 2016 coverage and I want to marry a conservative black girl who likes to shoot.

I'm glad production worked out for you, I was quite surprised to see you shooting that rather than your limited gun haha

Obviously it was the Atlas loner gun that really won in the end.

Interesting thought I had... Do you suppose this is the first/only major ever won shooting from concealment? The food court has a new sheriff in town, is all I'm saying.

Thank you! Here are my pew pew pews
