Close is not even close to how close this close match closed out.

Close.

Let me guess the Russian guy was shooting a Glock and therefore could not muster the .5 points needed to win? 😉

I thought Shadow 2 makes you shoot faster 3-5 seconds per stage?

He didn't shoot the US IPSC nats which are the qualifier matches (along with USPSA nats) for world shoot team slots.

IIRC

So did he consciously  decide not to be on the team, then?  Or did he skip the US IPSC Nationals because he didn't realize that was part of qualifying for the team?

Seems like a free trip (mostly free???) to the World Shoot would have been an incentive to shoot the IPSC Nationals.  But maybe he had other commitments.

I think/hope this World Shoot will be the first nail in the coffin of Standard and Production as two opposite divisions. When you look at the combined results (https://practiscore....verall-combined) you will see five (WTF) Standard shooters when scrolling down, before you run into the first Production shooter.

I wonder how long before there is one division:

- 9mm minor

- X lbs first shot trigger

- Fit box or capacity @ X rounds

- No comps no optics

- Other mods allowed

This data shows Ben lost to Pavel; data integrity is suspect.

Pavel may have won the popular vote, but Stegger won the Electoral College.

Combined results do that sometimes since the percentages change

Combined uses major scoring, thus occasionally  minor shooters get their rankings differently than scored as minor when results are very close, all depending on the ratio of B/C an Ds.

Not quite...

The combined results can change because the stage points get calcualted based on the overall stage winner, who is usually some cunt in Open, and that can change how heavily each stage is weighed vs. the division results.

U shut your whore mouth with your correct scoring and understanding of the rules man.

For the plebes--"standard" is basically international limited?

Standard is limited with smaller mags and must fit a box.
