If you didn’t like Adam from Atlas you’re not gonna like the cock over at Patriot Defense.

The hell of it is... Joe / PatriotDefense is a great guy. The guy on the forums who hurts all the feels doesn’t even work at Patriot: he’s the designer of the Bolo but beyond that? Joe made it pretty clear it’s not “us.”
I won an IDPA match once. It was neat.

A class clown chiming in:

I decked that bitch out with all of the PD goodies. Hell. You’ve probably browsed one of the bajillion threads where I outlined what is in my gun on Brian’s forum...

Dude. I shoot my bone stock 4lb 11oz Walther trigger just as well as I shot a fully Pimptimized Tanfo.

If I were to build another Tanfogooglio, it’d run a stock disco and maybe a titan hammer. Springs, one piece sear, done. If you’ve got 2,000 rounds through the gun? You’re looking at identical match scores for a Titan/Bolo and Delta/ShitDisco.

Just shoot that thing early and often. Your gun is set up similar to Ben’s and Gutt’s. Last time I looked they stomp on all of the dicks of the Patriot-equipped guys on match day.

There’s far too much information (thank you)and options out there which is what got me thinking in the first place and fueled the desire for more. General consensus is if it ain’t broke don’t break it, I’ll leave it for now. Or until some Gm talks up how much better x part made their trigger...

I almost bought one of those. I want a back up just to have it but haven’t convinced my back account to do that yet. A class from steeger is in my priority over buying another tangfo but the tax man might convince me to do both.....

But there's also the whole trigger kit and kaboodle.  You can't show up at Steggers class with a shitty trigger.  All the kids will make fun of you.

The more I learn to shoot, the more I start to appreciate a simple platform like a glock. I've seen some really solid shooters work that platform like a boss and stomp folks with $1500 to $2000 dollar guns.

If there's a Dremel and whiskey involved at least you'll have a good time.

Duh, if You drink all the whisky then there wouldn't be any whisky left for gunsmithing. Not impressed.

Duh, if You drink all the whisky then there wouldn't be any whisky left for the next morning when you wake up and remember how bad things went the night before.

If you remember how things went the night before you’re doing it wrong.

True story.... sorta.
I did go to a class with Ben, he shot my (mostly stock save for firing pin, guide rod, and recoil springs) Tanfo. Said my trigger sucked.... kinda laughed at it.
I fired his gun.... it is most decidedly NOT stock.
Because I like to tinker, I went down the rabbit hole. Polish/springs/trigger/bolo etc.
If I was to do it all over, I would absolutely do the full insane polish job again, and I’ll likely get a Titan hammer someday (or that sexy Unica one... seeing its “OK” now LOL!).
I like the bolo, and won’t go back, but it needs a little more spring to light off everything.
6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
Polishing doesn’t cost much, and if nothing else, makes cleaning easier.
The rest is luxury

I had joe do some tooning to my limited Tanfoglio, he did pretty good work. Even called called me to chat about the use of gun, my goals, etc. Only complaint I have is he didn't loctite the stupid screw in the trigger. For the money I paid, that should have been done.

Would I send him more work, yes I would...

That would explain all those Charlies and Steel Make-up shots the Joiner Sisters were talking about.
