I would argue with GM-BatShit on this point. Most of the guys selling their "stock" 2011's are just trying to get back a little cash to help with the cost of their "new and improved ultra-high speed murder-chromed out Amazo-blaster" that's guaranteed to make them a paper GM instantly. 99% of the pistols on decent forums are solid guns. I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I'm about 10 2011's in, and I've never bought a new one. Bought one with a small crack in the slide (advertised as such) for $800. Worst case is I have to have a new slide fitted for $500-600, that still puts me into it for only $1400.
Don't be scared of used guns. Do make sure that you have someone to work on it if needed. Usually, even if you have to spend some $$$ on it, you can still come out on top versus buying new.
