I have never seen or heard of this part breaking. You need to post this on a timmy site to get the butthurt flowing.

Glocktalk?

Check your serial number. If it starts with an E good chance it is part of a recall that happened about the time frame of your gun manufacture. The front or rear rails would break in rare occasions. I had Refused to bother with the recall. Then the left rear finally broke. Turn around time was < 3 weeks.

How is Glock so good at diagnosing what is stock but USPSA can't figure it out? Oh well, guess we'll just make everything legal instead.

Simple.
If your Glock runs, they assume it is stock.

If it doesn't run, they send you to the armorer who replaces the aftermarket parts that are causing the failures with factory ones (may or may not give you back the aftermarket parts). That armorer works for Glock.

I managed to install the locking block all by myself, with a Big Fucking Hammer.

Now the slide is tight and hangs up. It's like a brand new custom 2011 for only $28 without the wait.

But does the gun feed right now in spite of the hangup?

If it runs in live-fire reliably, it’s nothing like a “new custom 2011” at all.

Fuck if I know. You think I'm going to go out and shoot a Glock if I'm not getting paid for it?

You're doing it wrong again.  A locking block should install with finger pressure alone.

If it took a hammer, it's either the wrong part or you are a soup sandwich. Or you're fucked up like Hogan's goat.  Or you have more problems than a math teacher.

PM not that bryan with the gun info/serial number and the part number of the block you used to confirm compatibility.

All BS aside, things shouldn't be this hard with a Glock.  If you yard sale a Glock assembly, it's time to seek professional help.

Nope.

So you're saying this was the world's most epic troll?  Good one.  Seriously.  I can't believe I fell for a story about you breaking a gun.  WTF was I thinking.  The internet is yours, dude.
