People tend to overestimate what they can achieve in a few months and underestimate where they can get in a few years of focused effort.
Very true. Realistic goals this year is place high in B class at the NC Sectional and try to make A class by the end of the year. I have been doing a bit of dry fire and try to live fire every week and do two matches a month. Been working on moving and shooting during dry fire and getting in and out of positions faster. My draws and reloads are fairly solid. One thing that I noticed in the last few months at match’s is that I need to start trusting myself more with shot calling. Thinking I missed on a further away target I plug a few more rounds at it. Every time I do this it was unneeded.
