I clicked the link (fucking mistake). Noticed there was a video section and figured what the hell (fucking mistake #2). Watched their stupid promo (fukcking mistake #3). Now I have a headache. Thanks for that.

Unless otherwise noted, expect that all my posting here is in true Doodie fashion.  If my post somehow upsets your sensibilities, well...there ya go.

ASI’s founders all have 20+year backgrounds in semi-pro practical shooting competition. That’s an intense, high-skill world that’s ill-suited to the “average gun owner.” We’ve brought the match production and safety processes learned there into ASI, but reduced the intensity and technical demands, resulting in a casual sport which we’re sure you will love.

Wait, I recognize that guy.

ASI CEO Robin Tayor? Coincidence, surely. "Occasional Front Sight stringer" is way too much to risk losing.

They have the Millennial demographic locked in what with the whole non-competitive, everybody's a winner, we won't make you do anything difficult scheme.

And it's nice of them to lift the USPSA/IPSC rule set wholesale with no credit whatsoever. Part of the 'Sharing' economy, bro.

Use the rules. Don't DQ someone who doesn't do anything DQable. -- Da Beard.

From their promo video: "We're about participation and learning rather than sporting excellence"

You just can't make this shit up........

Who do we have in the Seattle metro area to sign up for one of these "matches" and destroy everyone?

Holsters are optional. Shooters who’ve been cleared to use a holster by the host range can start with a loaded gun in the holster, but most shooters start each stage with their pistol on a table, on the ground, or other position specified in the stage briefing.

Cater to low-impact average Joes. Make them bend over to pick their guns off the ground.
