Bravo Gooldy, Bravo

Just got finished catching up at the GV and you held together a rational argument like a champ.

One thing to keep in mind. The commentators remaining over there are the hardcore accolites. It would be interesting to see what a broader sample of the IPSC population thought of the topic

Closed group, so no idea what it's like. 900 members average almost a post a day though, sounds exciting.

vp have always been talking about the importance of self defense roots for the sport. So I guess in Hong Kong they use airsoft guns for self defense.

that and sick ninja skills.

I said easier, it's still easier in IPSC, because you just define the area, and going outside is not allowed...period.

it would even easier to just disallow movement. I'm sorry your stage designers are stupid. Ours aren't.

Yes it is, you can always go out of the fault lines in IPSC. It just can't be a part of a "shortcut". What does shortcut mean? Well here's a 5 page post that will not define it because in one worlds match they just decided to get rid of the rule because fuck you that's why, and then nobody can agree if it's shorter distance or shorter time.

Hey, newbie.

Never, never, never link to GV. If by the miracle of a chance you find something in that megalomaniac circle jerk cesspool worth reading, cut and past here or use screen caps.

We only have a very few members who are clinically insane enough to both belong to that forum and be able to hold their tongues long enough to not get banned by lady-boy lover.

and I think it looks stupid when you see shooters running around in front of walls and back inside the shooting area.

And staying inside imaginary borders while running around and shooting doesn't look stupid?

It's not imaginary borders when there are solid planks laying around.

And if your stage designers are so smart why are all stages run from positition to postision and shoot 8 rounds While IPSC stages are fluid and present options for shooting on the move?

Because most stage designers aren't smart

I don't know how much you have shot in the US, but i have found stages like you describe to be pretty rare anymore. They are more common for new stage designers at local matches. I have done at 8-8-8-8 stage once or twice, but even then I make sure that some of the targets are available from multiple positions.

fwiw, i don't hate all things euro like most decent americans. I lived in germany for 6 years and finland for 4 months, and I think euros are very nice people considering they are mostly millennial fags. In general tho, I think USPSA rules are way more better than ipsc rules, which is no surprise since america kicks europe's ass in every respect when it comes to gun laws.

Having different Power Factor values for different divisions is retarded.  Just pick one and make that "Major" across the board.  I don't care whether it's 160 or 165.

Plenty of people are loading 9 major to 170+ PF without any issues.
