I'll be there. WI section match is always mandatory, it's an excellent one.

They're new, probably still little to no grass. Last year until the sun dried it all out you had straw and mud stuck to your shoes.

Sounds like the same problem they had with the range where the Whirled Chute was.

They solved that by dumping 10t of gravel on each range. Solved the mid issue but damn near covered all the fault lines

I haven't been to the range this match is at before. Hopefully there has been some solid grass growth in the last year.

The berms are preventing drainage with the grade. As far as I know drain pipe is going in. Don't know when. They are great a couple days after rain but will retain water. Not sure if gravel will help.

In the long run if they keep it mowed grass and drainage pipes would be better.

Gravel is good for training ranges but with 3 gun and shit I'm sure they'll be shooting at the ground a lot and going prone and whatever else.

On the bright side the ground is frozen much of the year.

Are any Doodies planning on doing the romantic picnic Saturday night?

I'm disinclined, but willing to consider it.

Thought about it but skipping it in favor of on-the-go food to maximize home time.
