25 is the norm down here. :(

Also production is gay. I aimed so hard yesterday and still had a miss with the DA weak hand.

Ask him how much he still won by 😳

(Hint: nobody feels sorry for him 😂)

I think what sucks the most is that we have 120-150 shooters every match (twice a month) yet the same 15 people are building the stages and doing tablets/reg every time.

On topic though, Production is the largest division with about 25-30% of the population.

This is a common problem and I see it everywhere I shoot at, and it only takes like 3-5 years to get burned out and call it quits.

Probably works well when the AM match is over at 4:30

Sounds more like a "brunch" start.

I second that!! Shooters suck when it comes to assisting in match setup/tear down.

As far as Production dying...I think this forum is dying faster

I thought buying M and GM cards was the product of PCC.

Oh, it is. Along with being a fucking embarrassment.

But major with a dot and a comp really softens that curve in locals.

I’ve shot my last 4 or 5 locals in PCC. The curve got a LOT steeper when they reconfigured the HHFs. Which is good - it really needed to.
I won an IDPA match once. It was neat.

Some clubs dont like letting the young blood in to build stages that are more 'fun' because they don't like doing things that are hard (cooper tunnel, low port, lots of running, swingers, fixed time etc...) and hide behind the excuse of 'it will scare away new shooters'

That’s because the Indiana Secrion is a good, probably great match, with outstanding competition and good stages...all we really need are hookers resetting targets and some ‘rock candy’ in between stages where they have mini poppers out at 45 yards....
But seriously,....Indiana Section is a great match.

I shot a section match last weekend. There were 12 shooters shooting Production. Last year there were 25, in 2016 - 45... You got the picture. The total number of shooters remains the same - 130-140. The same situation is in the other section - shot a match there two weeks ago.  Looks like CO and PCC have killed it.

Thoughts?

So the same match for 2019. The match is full.

The match breakdown:

Limited 43
Open 34
Production 8
Revolver 1
Single Stack 7
Carry Optics 26
Pcc 22

PCC stole all pf our old guys who shot a dot because they can’r see irons.

CO stole all of us younger guys who prefer shooting factory-ish polymer guns. I shot a Walther in production. No I shoot one with a dot that holds 24 rds.
I won an IDPA match once. It was neat.

People still shoot polymer guns? I didn't think they were "competitive" anymore.
