PCC, a frog shooting a Tanfo at nationals, hi-cap minor revolvers, and anything goes Production rules aren't going to grow this sport in any meaningful way.  If you're lucky, USPSA will survive the ongoing decline of the shooting sports despite the bad decision making we've seen lately.

I'm voting for you then next election.

How so? I believe this is... completely mental.

The metal gun just has a better trigger, the weight helps with recoil management, for me. I agree, everything is mental, but since I rarely have any live fire practice, my performance was better with metal vs plastic. M&P pro to Stock 2, huge difference for me.

Top shooter? probably doesnt matter.....much

bottom shooter? probably doesnt matter

for the rest of us in the middle...yea...steel guns are definitely an edge.

easier recoil control with a less than perfect grip.

better lighter smoother triggers

magazines seem to drop and load smoother...at least in my opinion

typically better out of the box sights.

Not much but I bet  when its all said and done those things might just save an average shooter  a couple of seconds and a few alphas.

Lets be realistic. Tanfos and Shadow 2s are race guns made for production.

USPSA is dying? The statistics must be trumped up. Seems to me its growing.

What’s growing is PCC and the controversy of letting rifles shoot in a pistol match.
Just take a look at your local club and see all the people that switch over and shot PCC before HQ jacked up the classifier system.
The local clubs I used to shoot at, BGSL and SCCC each probably had 10 people switch over.....10 out of 50-75 shooters who shot USPSA matches is a pretty good chunk...

PCC is a great way for the graybeards, geezers and Millennials that are not interested in doing anything 'hard' at a match like, say a reload, to stay active.

My practice today made me think about Glocks being irrelevant.
