I don't recall what "midwest marksman" is exactly, but it is the company/entity that put together the original chart, which was a little different.  I think they had IDPA master starting at the bottom of C class or something, and while I appreciate a well deserved "dumping on IDPA" session as much as the next guy, that simply isn't true.

So midwest marksman doesn't think very highly of it's curriculum?

I think there's a little bit more overlap between IDPA Master and USPSA A class.

The chart says there is complete overlap, as it shows IDPA MA going from mid B class to infinity.  I personally don't count IDPA DM as anything since there is such a narrow range of conditions that have to be met to attain it.

I'd say it's the opposite. If you attend one of their classes, you'll magically be ahead of most IDPA Masters and all the USPSA A Class shooters.

According to the Chart, after Midwest Marksman Pistol 2 class it equates to hi D or Low C class in USPSA and Marksman in IDPA.

No I think you have it wrong. I believe its the opposite of what you are saying. I think they are saying to rate yourself based on your IDPA/USPSA classification and choose a class based on that. So if you are an A in USPSA you wouldn't benefit from their classes but a D class shooter could benefit.

At least they are being honest about the product they sell. And lets face it, most gun owners would be D class shooters, and these people are marketing to them.

Yep. I didn't read it very carefully.

I think 'Midwest Marksman' is the highest rank of shooting skill available.

I feel that if take someone who "owns" a gun and they can make upper D class after 1 class then that's a pretty damn good class. Considering there are people out there who have been stuck in D class for years.
