I must be crazy because I actually enjoy load development. After I've completely figured out a particular gun and caliber combination it turns into just work. I was a dedicated believer in 147's until I started dicking with Glocks, in that particular platform I think 124's are fine.

Homie...
That's prima SV. Prima V has been sold out for a while. Some guys like SV for 40 major, but have yet to see actual load data and evidence of loading SV in minor. Thanks for contributing to the "blow OP's hand off fund." I'll revert to my previous comment: fire this load with your weak hand. What could go wrong?
PS, grafs still has no hazmat promo on vectan powder (10 bottle min.).

Fixed link - thank you, that was a bad one. I shouldn’t post quickly while sick and drinking a glass of red.

Prima SV is like VV N310. I bought a jug for testing with 9Minor and it was too fast. From memory I was struggling to make power factor and primer flow was getting excessive.

I guess my buddies and I drained the last of the PrimaV in our last bulk order. Sorry.

PrimaV 1.1 lb jugs on sale $13.99 + $7.95 flat shipping + $20 Hazmat (used to have a deal where this was free for 10 lbs+).

For 10 jugs (11 lbs) you are at $15/lb delivered - eevn less if you and some buddies buy in larger quantities.

Screw WST

Buy as many lbs of powder as you can without incurring more shipping and hazmat charges.

But stratification.  The idea of having to shake my powder hopper makes me sad.

Thanks for contributing to the "blow OP's hand off fund."

No, wait, this could be a competitive advantage.  If I blow my weak hand off, I can shoot WHO strings SHO.  Which is almost as good as buying a PCC and shooting SHO/WHO strings freestyle, and much cheaper!

What if I told you that you could shake your 1.1lb powder jug BEFORE you poured it into your powder hopper?

And what if I told you to recalibrate after 1-200 rounds and that it should stabilize?

You are working too fucking hard.

Find the Division you want to shoot.

Find a motherfucker shooting that division, preferably who makes power factor and does not eat crayons.

Tickle his balls until he gives up the load. Giggidy.

Copy him.

Get back to practicing.

WST is good.
Clays / International Clays is good (love it behind 124s!)
Prima V is good.
Even Titegroup works well although it’s not my favorite.

And yes, minimum FMJ loads have always translated nicely into loads with coated bullets. I’ve wound up with 115-128 pf loads using that method with the above powders.
I won an IDPA match once. It was neat.

Or zip tie a vibrator to your hopper... never done it, but heard it works great.

If you use different powders, add vibrator selection to your load development to find the size, shape, vibration patterns that work best for each powder.Posted Image
