Get rid of the 650 or get several Ring indexers and an alignment tool.

Looks like the ad copy for the F&F was written by the Ammobot guy. “No proprietary tablets or PC interfaces to fail. No touch screens that don't recognize dirty or calloused fingers. No software to get corrupted. No need for internet connectivity for "updates". Our drive and control system was designed properly from the start, so as to not need updating.”

I wonder if they'll even sell one of those to someone in their own family.

The design looks like they colluded with 50's era Russians, submitted it to Heath Kit, received rejection, put design away for a half century and boom what was old (looking) is new again!

Hell Ammobot is on revision 3 now 1 and 2 aren't even upgrade able to 3.
You had to mail them your control box to upgrade from V1 to V2.
That is some convenience  right out of 1982

It's cool that the Rev 3 has a new drive that they tout as having "much less motor noise."  Wait - was the earlier Ammobot motor noisy??

Those cuts and welds though. Couldn't even be bothered to polish that $2400 turd.

Those are “fully welded joints”. How would you know if they cleaned them up? It’s a sign of quality, like how they leave NATO 223 unpolished so you know it’s annealed.

I actually think the ffb looks ok. But I'm confused as to why it costs $2400. I would think $1000-$1200 would be about right and sell heaps of them.

Given the mk7 is $1750 and comes with the decap sensor it's hard to find a good reason to pay $650 more for the ffb...

Get the mk7.

Or wait till trigger warning cracks and buys an ffb so he can make a funny vid on it.

Then buy his cheap when he's bored with it.

I'm waiting on the Revolution to show up.  I figure that's a great press for beginners since it does everything and then I can work my way up to a Lee Single Stage.

Don’t shit on Ammobot too hard, we need competition or Mark 7 prices would go up.

And they got it right the first time. At least you had better hope they did.
